The nurse made me feel really bad about wanting to take out my ius. She kept asking me why I want to take it out .. I gave her the reason and she kept insisting I tell her more. According to her they are very expensive. I finally told her I want to have a baby and she insinuated that I was lying by saying, “ you don’t have to say you are ready for a baby just so I can get it out “. I felt really bad but kept my cool. I own my body and shouldn’t be made to feel bad about removing something from it just because it is expensive. I have never claimed a benefit in this country and I pay my taxes and IHS. I want this to be escalated. As Nurses like this are tho ones destroying the NHS and making people call the NHS racist. I have a feeling that she felt I was entitled and mainly because of my skin colour.. she probably wouldn’t have interogated me like that if I was white like her . So sad.

People shouldn’t be made to feel bad about removing a IUD from their body just because it’s expensive.

Both the consultant(Dr S Ba??..,I cannot remember their names)and her wonderful assistant, were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Equally as kind, informative and professional, made me feel totally relaxed, in a situation that I was very anxious about, prior to meeting them both. Absolute amazing..
